Keyword Selection

Once you joined into an advertising network, e.g., Google Adsense, Yahoo! Publisher Network, Chitika, and many more, you have to publish meaningful contents to help robot classifier of the networks to identify the appropriate topic for a page. Most recent advertising networks only show relevance advertisment matched to content in page where the Ads is displaying. So the point is to produce meaningful contents in such a single topic per page.

What is meaningful content? It is so easy. Actually, the meaningful content is in your mind, your common sense. For example, imagine that you are looking for some contents using a search engine. How can you search for the content you want? That’s it! The answer is keywords. Generally, you have to utilize keywords and its relevancies more than just a single time. However, the keywords must not be too much to prevent anti-spam function inside crawler.

Don’t worry too much about selecting keywords. Many sites offer this kind of service to help you making decision easier. I will show a few of them by now.

Anyway, since paying rates of each advertisment are highly vary according to its associate keywords, the next step is to choose the appropriate topic to increase probability of getting high paying rate advertisment.
